SUPPORTING THE HUGHES

Hello, my name is Alex DiMare. I’m Eric and Kalli Hughes’ friend and Pastor. Three weeks ago the Hughes welcomed their daughter Holland into the world. Saturday, January 20th Eric and Kalli were taking Holland on a walk around their neighborhood. During the walk they and their golden retriever Basil were viciously attacked by two pit bulls. Eric received multiple bites from the dogs in an attempt to rescue Basil that resulted in stitches, Kalli who is three weeks postpartum was bit as well and Basil was rushed into emergency surgery as she was in critical condition from the attack. They are all in recovery now. After getting home from the hospital Eric found that a pipe had burst under their house resulting in thousands upon thousands of dollars in damages.

I know there are so many people that love the Hughes and would do anything for them. I want as many of us to rally around them as possible. We’re attempting to raise $10,000 (we just raised it to $15,000 as there are so many more who want to participate) for the Hughes to help cover medical expenses, baby expenses, food while they are out of their house and of course the thousands of dollars of damages caused by these broken pipes.

Every single penny will go directly to the Hughes family to cover their needs in this time. Also, please keep them in your prayers.
