Supporting the Kim family - landslide victims
By now you would have heard the tragic news about Anna Kim (Song) her mother Rose Kim and Anna’s young son Taeyang Rikiti suddenly taken from us after a landslide in Gapyeong, South Korea.
Anna was a much loved member of the Kiwi and Korean communities, a vibrant, kind, sweet and loving friend to all those that met her. Her mother and her son were her life. Anna left New Zealand to reconnect with her heritage and whanau in South Korea, establishing herself as a savvy business woman with drive, intellect and compassion. She proudly called herself Korean-Kiwi, and was extremely proud of her heritage.
As the chair of the Kiwi Chamber eloquently put it "Anna, you are one of the most talented enthusiastic people i have ever met. You left a deep impression on all those that met you'
Our hearts and prayers go out to Anna's friends, family and extended loved ones at this time.
This page is to help support Anna's brother Sean (currently in NZ) to travel to Korea attend the funeral and to assist with costs. With COVID-19 restrictions in place, and mandatory isolation these costs can be exorbitant
This go-fund me page is for the family to take their mind off the funeral costs while they are grieving. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
Sean (Anna's much adored younger brother) will be the beneficiary of these funds to ensure the funds go directly to the family. He will use this to pay for the funeral costs and celebration of their lives. Any left over funds will go towards the family taking a much needed break to heal together.
Thank you for your generosity.
Shane and Bella - her besties
Please note donations are in AUD or USD I believe and will be sent to Sean to his NZ account
