Supporting The Legless Legend

Hi to you all again!

I wish to thank you all for your previous donations for my brave and beautiful brother.

A fundraising event has been planned for Friday 7th July 2023, 8pm till late at The Black Lion pub in Scarborough.

There will be live music and a chance to meet up with old friends and meet new friends.

The funds raised will be going to Mark and his family to help support with ongoing costs to help them in costs to attend hospital visits, usually in Middlesbrough or York and to assist with small adaptations to their home.

Mark is an inspiration to us all, he’s been knocked down and got himself back up again (as chumba wumba sang). Not only has managed this, he is working a few hours a week at Everyone Active and has signed up to support other amputees who have gone through he has. Mark will be offering support and give a real account of what to expect going forward and how to deal with such a big change to life.

Mark has a long road ahead of him with more surgery but even with this he continues to count his blessings and enjoys life one day and one leg at a time!
