Hi everyone,

My name is Teanna, and I'm reaching out to you on behalf of my beloved grandmother and the rest of my family.

Tragically, the Eaton Fire has destroyed our family home in Altadena, California. While we are incredibly thankful that my grandmother and Aunt were able to evacuate safely but they literally fled for their lives with the clothes on their backs, the loss of our home is devastating and extremely traumatizing to say the least.

For my 83-year-old Grandma, this home held countless cherished memories spanning over 50 years. It was a sanctuary for our family, a place where we celebrated birthdays, holidays, and countless gatherings. Grandma, a dedicated employee at Huntington Hospital for over 30 years, always opened her doors to those in need, offering comfort and support to family and many in our community.

My mother's home, while still standing, has also suffered significant smoke damage and is currently uninhabitable.

Rebuilding our lives after this devastating loss will be a long and challenging journey. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping my family cover immediate expenses, food, and essential items and belongings.
