Remembering Brad LaCombe: A Tribute to a Beloved Husband, Father, Brother and Coach

On the night of January 19, 2024, our beloved husband, father, brother, son, friend and uncle, Brad LaCombe, left us unexpectedly, leaving behind a shattered family. Brad, a loving father to four incredible children – Kaden, Quinten, Dominic, and Taylor, and a devoted husband to Jennifer LaCombe, passed during surgery while trying to repair a spontaneous, life threatening tear in his ascending aorta.

Brad's life was a tapestry woven with love, athleticism, football, and a commitment to health and wellness. He and Jennifer shared a journey filled with joy, raising a beautiful family that mirrored his passion for life. Kaden, entering trade school, Quinn, a high school sophomore, Dominic and Katie, newlyweds expecting their first child, and Taylor, a professional in health and wellness, are now left to navigate life without their beloved father.

Born and raised in Mora, MN, Brad's early years were shaped by his love for hockey and football. His dedication to sports continued through college football at St. Cloud State University and professional football in the CFL (Canadian Football League) as a linebacker. Brad's strength, both on and off the field, made him a cherished member of the LaCombe family and the community. He was a high school football coach at Providence Academy and always had a passion for passing on the game to the next generation of young athletes.

Brad was one of five siblings, raised by his single mother Kathryn LaCombe. Andrew, Deborah, Chris, Kevin, and Brad formed a tight-knit family, and each is now mourning the loss of their beloved brother and son.

In this time of immense grief, we are reaching out to you, our community, to support the LaCombe family as they navigate this difficult journey. Your contributions will help with the medical bills and expenses associated with Brad’s passing.

Let's come together to honor Brad's memory and provide comfort to the LaCombe family during this challenging time. Your kindness and generosity will be a beacon of light in their darkest moments.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us.
