Supporting the Marshall Family

Welcoming a new baby into the world is one of life’s greatest moments.
David and Mallory Marshall welcomed their beautiful daughter, Harlow Ray, into the world on March 11th at 4:11am accompanied by their sweet 4-year-old son, Jasper.
Almost immediately, they realized that Harlow was born with severe meconium aspiration syndrome, MAS, which means she had been inhaling an in utero bowel movement for an undetermined amount of time while practicing her breaths.
Now fighting for her life in the NICU due to the severity of her condition, there are many financial stresses looming in front of Harlow’s family. From the medical bills with no end in sight to the time off from work for David, the mounting monetary obligations are tallying up rapidly.
Would you consider helping us support David, Mallory, Jasper and Harlow during this unpredictable time? If we all work together, our efforts will mean the world to the Marshalls as they continue to fight alongside Harlow for her health.
How can you help?
-Give to this campaign in any dollar amount, nothing is too little!
-Pray for Harlow for healing in her body and for wisdom for her caretakers
-Sign up for the Meal Train to provide a meal: https://mealtrain.com/mn8mr9
-Share this campaign on social media and use the hashtag #prayforharlow
What will the money be used for?
-Mounting medical bills while Harlow is in NICU and the accommodations provided by the hospital so that her parents can remain close by
-Incidentals like meals while staying away from home
-An increase in fuel expenses as they travel back and forth between home and the hospital (as now only parents are allowed in the NICU and their son still needs to see his parents)
-Undetermined loss of David’s salary while he takes time to be with his family
-Possible child care cost for Jasper in the future
Thank you for taking the time to read and for your willingness to support this beautiful family. Every dollar will be a huge help and practical support is also immensely appreciated. David and Mallory are already stunned by the kindness of their community and are so thankful for your friendship.
Love, Chrystal Simmons, Kelsie Massey and Sarah Jackman
Dad, Big Brother and Mom. (David, Jasper and Mallory)
NOTE: In light of the recent outbreak of COVID-19, no visitors are currently allowed due to hospital protocols. Only Harlow’s parents can be in with her and as you might imagine, this will likely be isolating and lonely for them.
