Supporting the Moriaritys

Recently, for 17 days, Josh has been living in the hospital and at times the ICU fighting to get better enough to rejoin his family at home.
He has been really sick and on FMLA since November 2022.
Josh tried everything to fix his colitis issues with no such luck.
On January 19, 2023, Josh went into the hospital for a colon removal as well as having an iliosotomy placed to help with his colitis. That part of surgery went great.
However, just an hour before Josh was to be discharged to go home, he began to experience severe abdominal pain and passed out. This occurred a few more times.
His hemoglobin had dropped to 4.9 as he immediately lost 3 liters of blood and eventually coded. He was then rushed to the ICU where they clamped the stress ulcer that broke open and was the cause of the bleeding.
The following week Josh spent in the ICU, he received a total of 12 bags of blood, had another 4 surgeries, had 2 arteries cauterized, and had 5 coils placed in those arteries to stop all the bleeding he had endured.
Josh may finally be home but his lengthy battle in the hospital has left him malnourished and very weak.
Amy plans to stay home with him on FMLA. She is helping him to get his nutrition back up and providing his therapy to restore all the muscle he has lost during this battle.
With neither of them working, and all the medical bills adding up, we would like to give a little help to get them back on their feet with hopes of less stress over bills and more focus on his recovery.
Thank you for supporting our great friends while Josh is recovering!
