Supporting the Rivera ‘Ohana after another devastating loss

On April 12, 2025, our beloved cousin Treijah “Bun Bun” Rivera, the youngest of the bunch, tragically passed away in a car accident caused by a drunk driver. This heartbreaking loss comes just three months after the passing of her Papa, Rickey Rivera, from cancer, and nine months after the loss of her cousin, Leimokihana Lunasco, due to complications during childbirth.

At only 15 years old, Bun Bun was a beautiful soul with her whole life ahead of her. She was full of love, laughter, and dreams—especially her dream of becoming a veterinarian. She loved spending time with her ʻohana and friends, shooting the cruise, and caring for her puppy Baby. She was a simple, down-to-earth spirit who never cared for material things, just the company of those she loved.

This has left our family reeling from yet another unimaginable loss. We are humbly asking for donations to help cover funeral expenses, as her passing was sudden and unexpected. Bun Bun leaves behind her parents, siblings, cousins, and a large extended ʻohana who loved her deeply.
