Supporting the Sieverts Family

Our dear friends Liz, Damon and their 3 boys (7, 4, 2) have sadly lost all of their belongings, a car and business equipment in the recent flooding at Holloways Beach, Cairns. They won’t know for some time whether the structure of their home can be salvaged or if their Food Truck has been completely destroyed.

Fortunately they were rescued by SES yesterday afternoon and are staying in emergency accommodation.

Anyone that knows Liz and Damon know what amazing and caring people they are. Always supporting their community, volunteering on the Freshwater Primary School P & C and serving up the best Fish Tacos in town from the The Hungry Nomad.

We are initially seeking donations to assist them during this immediate crisis period - to secure accommodation in an already impossible rental market, purchase clothing, food, replace Christmas presents, school uniform etc.
