Supporting the Smith Family

On December 28th, Katie Smith, age 26, was diagnosed with an early stage of breast cancer known as Ductal Carcinoma in Situ. Within the upcoming month, her journey will begin with a double mastectomy at the University of Vermont Medial Center. The results of this surgery will then determine Kate’s treatment plan consisting of radiation and/or chemotherapy.

With an upcoming renewal of their vows this coming July, Katie and her husband John can use all the support and help they can to stay on top of the upcoming bills associated with the appointments, surgery, treatment, and travel expenses to and from Burlington.

For those of you that don’t know Katie, those that do would agree she is a loving, supportive, and selfless mother, wife and friend. It is now our turn to help show our support as she "fights like a girl" and kicks cancers ass!
