Supporting the Tracy family

It is with immense sadness and grief, we share the passing of my neighbour and friend, Bryan Tracy on May 23, 2024, at the age of just 43. Bryan fought through a very brief, aggressive health battle and was taken from us far too soon. His family and friends are left reeling with the loss of such an amazing father and husband and all-around great person – one of the good ones!

Over the years I’ve been witness to his dedication to his family. So many nights after work I’ve watched Bryan tirelessly set up the hockey net and be seen shooting pucks with his boys or playing catch and watched as both parents pull out of the driveway and head in different directions each with a son and their hockey gear.

Bryan’s wife, Miranda (together for over 23 years), and their 2 boys aged 12 and 14 are left to pick up the pieces and try to navigate their life without him. In the face of this tragedy, family and friends have come together as a community to extend their love and support to Miranda and the boys.

Bryan was born with a genetic kidney disease (diagnosed at 12 yrs) that also saw him have a kidney transplant just last year. Due to this condition, and despite many efforts for years, Bryan was unable to obtain any sort of life insurance to help his family.

My hope is that we can come together to raise funds for Miranda and the boys to help alleviate the financial burden they now face and provide some assistance for the rough times ahead.
