Supporting the Wagner Family

Hello family and dear friends, we're starting a fundraiser for the Wagner family in the hopes of helping to alleviate the financial burden they are about to undergo. Around August of this year, Shaun and Lindsay met with Shaun's physician to find out that Shaun has a form of stomach cancer called Malt Lymphoma. The weeks following, Shaun underwent an extensive amount of bloodwork, CT scans, lab tests and a bone marrow biopsy. We are thankful that the tests have shown that Shaun's cancer is Stage 1E Malt Lymphoma and is in fact isolated to his stomach and no where else in his body.

Shaun will start radiation treatments this coming week (Sept. 25th) and will undergo about 20 sessions. Lord willing, this will destroy the cancer and he will make a full recovery. Shaun works a graveyard shift, so he does not have the ability to continue working full time while undergoing treatment. Lindsay will continue to work part-time, while taking care of Shaun and continuing to be the incredible mom she is to Elijah and Nathan. We'd like to simply come beside them and ease the financial stress of not being able to work so that Shauns body can heal and Lindsay can concentrate on taking care of Shaun and the boys.

Lindsay said it best in a recent text to our family: "We have a peace in this moment and we know that God is working all things for our good"
