Supporting the Wheeler Family

As many of you know,  our buddy & friend, Jillian Wheeler,  has had a rough few days.
She is currently in the ICU at Brigham and Women’s hospital in Boston.
 
Last Wednesday she woke up with a severe headache, passed out and was transported to the ICU at Brigham and Women’s where she underwent significant testing  to determine what was going on. 

Initially it was thought to be an aneurysm or some type of bleed, but the doctors are still working to locate the source of the bleed.  They are also watching for vessel damage, changes, clots, or signs of a stroke.

She encountered some difficulties as well, with her heart, which may have been caused by the anesthesia, medications or an infection but it’s uncertain at this time.

It’s been an intense couple of days but she is now in stable condition as the doctors continue to search for answers.

It’s my understanding that she has to remain in the hospital for a few weeks while the doctors get to the bottom of things. 

Many friends of the family have reached out to me and asked how they can help so I have created this page to raise funds to assist the family with expenses they will incur (traveling to the city, staying in the city and just general living expenses) during these next few weeks.
