Supporting the Wyatt Family

Hi everyone! My name is Kara and I, along with another mom Laura, were connected to Richelle and the Wyatt family through their journey to the NICU with their youngest daughter. What started out as support navigating the uncertainty and fears every NICU mom faces, quickly turned into SO much more. The Wyatt family's lives have been turned upside down as they've endured tremendous hardships over the last few months, and sadly their journey is only just beginning.

We are dedicated to Dillon, Richelle and their sweet children.

The Wyatt's Story:

After being rushed to the hospital after a seizure, doctors found a tumor in Dillon's brain, and scheduled him for brain surgery. Dillon was diagnosed with a brain tumor called astrocytoma grade 3. This is very aggressive cancer. Doctors have also told them that because of the placement of this tumor it is inoperable. This is not the only thing this beautiful family has had to endure lately. This is after Richelle was hospitalized for weeks after her water prematurely broke. Their beautiful baby, Sadie was born at 30 weeks and is STILL in the NICU. And the day after Dillons surgery Richelle had emergency surgery.

This family has been through so much, but through all of it God is faithful!! Still, Dillon and Richelle and their four kids have a tough road ahead.

Not only can Dillon not work but he can't drive either because of the seizures. Richelle will have to get him back and forth to his treatments for the foreseeable future, while also carrying for their kiddos. As you can see, this is a heavy load on this family. So please join me in rallying around them during this time.

They have friends and family organizing a Pancake Feed and Silent Auction in hopes to help ease the financial burden they are up facing but we know they need more. Before his seizure Dillon was the main provider for their family. He can't work now or for the foreseeable future. Dillon is a Army Vet who has always worked and provided for his family. This has been a devastating blow to them. Something no one can even understand or image.

Their goal is help with medical bills and to eventually pay off their mortgage. Dillon doesn't want to leave his family with a mountain of bills.
