Supporting Tina through her lung cancer journey

Hey, this is a fundraiser set up for Tina Nickerson, who was recently been diagnosed with aggressive small cell lung cancer and needs to start chemotherapy ASAP, which will begin December 21st, 2021. Currently she had to stop working and will have no income and needs help to pay her rent and buy food. She currently lives in Alberta, but all her family lives in NS, leaving her without necessary family to help her through this. The lung cancer is treatable, but inoperable. Any and every bit helps for her as the chemo treatment will go on for 18 weeks (4.5 months), and will start radiation when the doctor says she should. We are hoping to cover the basics of rent and food to help her through this hard time, without having to worry about the basics. She is heartbrokenly homesick, and would love nothing less to be home with her children and grandchildren but the doctors say she can’t go home until everything is done and clear a few tests.. we will keep everyone posted and up to date with what is going on with Tina.
