Assistance with medical bills for Vicky

My name is Lucy, and I am fundraising for Vicky Guarracino. Many of you know Vicky as the loud New Yorker whose bark is worse than her bite. She is loud, she can be scary, and she is a softie. Vicky has been a teacher for over twenty years and always puts her students and their needs before hers. She is known for her epic field trips, whether cleaning a field and planting trees or traveling to Costa Rica; Vicky makes sure her students leave her classroom with an appreciation for the environment and a passion for creating change. Recently Vicky was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis after losing mobility and strength in her legs. While Vicky learned more about her diagnosis, she was let go from her teaching position due to low enrollment. As Vicky begins navigating life with MS, she will also say goodbye to a huge part of her identity and passion. With these huge transitions happening, I hope to help Vicky take some time to adjust slowly and focus on creating a healthy lifestyle. Please donate whatever you can and help Vicky begin a new life.
