Supporting Walter & Regina Phillips

Walter and Regina Phillips experienced a devastating house fire, which started in the electrical wiring, on Tuesday, February 8th. Luckily everyone including their dog safely got out of the house; however, there was significant damage. Walter and Regina lived in that home for over 25 years. Together they raised three children and were known for their open-door policy. Everyone is welcome.

Walter and Regina have been involved in the Portland community for decades. You may know each of them from either watching Walter refereeing games and coaching kids how to be thoughtful and skilled basketball players or from listening to Regina advocate tirelessly for equity, justice, and equal access to rights and resources. Although they have homeowner's insurance and were hesitant to create a Go Fund Me request on their behalf, many people have asked how they can help support them. The Go Fund Me provides an avenue for friends and supporters to channel their love and support to them. Please give what you can to help Walter and Regina to replace their possessions and rebuild their home.
