Kathryn's Fight Against Cancer!
Donation protected
Hello friends and family,
My friend and coworker, Kathryn Walker, needs your support! On June 15th, 2016, Kathryn was diagnosed with stage 2 invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer at only 28 years old. On June 30th, she started her first round of neoadjuvant chemotherapy. She will have 3 more rounds of chemo before undergoing a double mastectomy and reconstruction surgery, then 3 additional rounds of chemo, followed by a year of hormone therapy.
Kathryn has a long road ahead of her but we know her as a strong, positive and hard-working woman. As she said, "life doesn't always turn out the way you expected, but I believe we can still find happiness down alternative paths. I'm looking forward to my journey to recovery and all the things I will learn along the way."
Please support Kathryn on this journey by donating anything you can to help cover surgery and chemo costs, diagnostic testing, comfy clothes, other medical expenses and anything else that she might need during her recovery. As you all know, fighting (and beating!) cancer is expensive, so please consider donating to Kathryn and her family to help relieve their burden. Thank you!
