Help Ken Recover From Targeted Harassment

Introduction
I'm Ken Jennings from KF. I'm also Ken's Counseling Couch on YouTube. On Monday, 19-July, while doing a stream trying to bring attention to issues in custody cases, using legally obtained documents and discussing a case that's been in the public eye for a while (a case that I have ZERO personal or professional involvement in), supporters of the mother in the case somehow doxed my information, very likely using confidential or sealed materials. They targeted my employer and I was terminated from my place of work on Tuesday, without my employer even taking the opportunity to review the evidence proving my innocence, only taking the words of random people calling in and a single emailed complaint. I was told it didn't matter what I said, I was being terminated regardless. All in less than 24 hours. I did nothing illegal, I only said things people didn't like, even while trying to provide a fair and equal assessment of the situation.
I loved being a counselor/therapist and trying to find a new job with a termination is going to be difficult and hoping I can find a practice to work under that is willing to deal with people coming after me in the future.
My GoFundMe Goal
I've set a goal of $10,000 to do 2 things:
1. Cover 3 months worth of lost income, while I process everything that happened and try to find new employment, which is around $6,000.
2. Use the remaining amount to look into suing the people involved in my termination and possibly my employer for wrongful termination. However I cannot guarantee any legal actions will come of this, but I am intending to speak to an attorney to review my options.
I have fallen behind on bills recently due to other emergencies that have required diverting of funds, which I do need to catch up on. I would like to put some money to these things, most importantly catching up on my mortgage. Any money not used for legal funds would go to this, which would really help my wife and I breathe easier after all this. Any money remains following, I'd like to donate to a cause focused on mental health and/or helping children.
I can provide a transaction log if people would feel more comfortable with accountability of the donations.
I hate asking for help, even with my profession. But I know this is a major impact on my livelihood for something that shouldn't have happened the way it did, all in an effort to simply discuss a controversial custody case.
Please don't donate if doing so will cause harm to your own economic circumstances. I want to thank everybody that's supported me in this and I have been overwhelmed with messages and emails of support. I didn't realize I had reached this many people. I can never thank you all enough for everything in support of what has happened.
