As some of you may already know, Paulie was admitted into the ICU Monday the 23rd, four days before his 24th birthday. He was diagnosed with a life-threatening case of Acute Pancreatitis with several complications. Due to these complications he has been heavily sedated, on a ventilator, and has undergone several rounds of dialysis. Dialysis treatments will continue until his organs return back to functioning properly.
Seeing that the healing process is very slow, it is very hard to say when he will be released, and a long road of recovery is ahead, indefinitely. While fighting for his life, Paul has not been able to work and will not able to for quite sometime. He is enduring an intense, and immensely painful disease that will affect the rest of his life, and seeing that he’s been through so much already we are trying everything in our power to lessen the stress on Paul upon his return home to recover.
With this, we are reaching out to friends, family, and anybody willing /wanting to help. He has already been through so much, the stress of all the medical bills is the last thing we need him worrying about, seeing that we need full attention on his recovery and well-being. Anything helps, and Paul as well as the rest of the family cannot even begin to express our gratitude we have for the generosity of the friends, family, and strangers gracious enough to help. We are hopeful that Paul will bounce back from this, and we thank you for the love/support for Paul and the rest of the family during this difficult time.
