Support Raquel's Recovery After Hit and Run

On Monday, April 6th, I was hit by a “hit and run” driver who they still have not found. There were three TV stations that covered this, which you can see on my FB page. My injuries have been severe.

I have a lump on my head, my neck injury is requiring me to be in a neck brace through the end of April. My ribs are all bruised, my hip has a sacrum fracture and a second fracture on the same hip. The bones in my right leg are all badly bruised, my right ankle has a severe sprain, and my liver is not functioning right. I am in a rehab facility in the hospital. The pain I’m in is relentless and not improving as of today, April 15. Please know that I am getting good care at the rehab from all the medical team and I’m receiving a lot of physical therapy.

My family is all in Colorado and I’m down here in San Antonio by myself. My job said that I need to be 100% clear and have a medical release before they’ll hire me back, and as of now, the doctors are anticipating my recovery will take at least 2 ½ months. In the meantime, I have no income at all to support myself and cover all of my living expenses.
