Faye Figlewski's Medical Expenses

Hello, we are raising money to help our dear friend Faye Figlewski. If you are reading this and you know Faye, you love her, no doubt. And if you don't know Faye, you would love her if you did, no doubt. Faye is one of the kindest, most generous, hardworking human beings that her friends and family have ever known.

Some of you may not know this, but Faye has had several unexpected happenings in her life recently, and she has accumulated a LOT of medical expenses. She had surgery back in August, leaving her with some manageable medical expenses. She was then involved in a car accident in November, totaling her vehicle, and needing medical treatment. Praise God it was not worse than it was! However, this accident left her with even more medical expenses and in need of another vehicle.

Faye will tell you that something good came from that car accident. She learned that she had cancer in her kidney. Had the accident not happened, it may have been too late when this was discovered. And thankfully, she only needs one kidney! :) Faye underwent surgery and hospital stay again right after Christmas to have the kidney removed.

Since Christmas, Faye had an overnight hospitalization in early January for atrial fibrillation. She has seen a cardiologist and this is being monitored, but again she was left with even more out-of-pocket medical expenses.

If she had only experienced one or two of these recent medical events, it may have been financially manageable. However, with all of these happening in her life back to back, the medical bills have become a daunting obstacle for her to overcome.

Faye's friends understand that we all have our own expenses and may not be able to contribute financially. Faye understands that, and we ask that you keep her in your prayers.
