Mack the Service Dog's Surgery

Mack, my service dog of 5 years, recently was diagnosed with a spinal disease called Intervertebral Disk Disease.  He needs surgery to take out a bad disk in his lower back that is causing nerve injury, weakness, and loss of feeling.      

We have surgery scheduled for next week, which requires money down at admission to the animal hospital.  Anything you are able to lend to help defray the significant costs of surgery is much appreciated.  

While all dogs are precious creatures, Mack is more dear to me than any other.  I depend on him to help me with my neurological disorder.   He needs surgery so that he can fully recover and continue working.  Mack has been there for me through thick and thin, helped me up when I was falling, and comforted me when I was in pain.   It's my turn to be there for him and provide the best care he can get.
