Surgery for Baby Ren

Sweet baby Renton has had a problem with switching to solid food. After a trip to the vet to determine the cause, it was found that he has a potential heart defect in his aorta, which fortunately is treatable with surgery!  Unfortunately, it is fatal without the expensive surgical intervention. We are starting with treatment for inflammation in his esophagus with a change in food (Royal Canin Gastrointestinal kitten) so that he may be able to eat more normally and without vomiting.  The wonderful vet at Cats Meow Feline Veterinary Clinic is sending his x-rays to WSU where he would need to go for treatment, to get their opinion. I already know that this is more than I can commit to spending on my own and I'm hoping those of you that have followed these angel baby's story will share this and help meet the goal to get this life-saving surgery for Ren. This little guy deserves a chance at a happy, healthy life.
