Surgery for Infant Univentricular Heart

My name is Faith Adugu. I delivered my baby (Kojo) on 20th February 2023.

Baby Kojo has been diagnosed with a rear form of a cardiac condition called univentricular heart. He has been on oxygen since birth and fighting for every single breath and life.

Surgery for this type of cardiac condition is not available in Ghana, hence he can only be treated outside the country.

The cardiologist at the Korle BU Teaching Hospital will be able to arrange for surgery in India at a cost estimated at 15,000 US dollars excluding expenses.

Unfortunately, we are unable to afford care for the infant outside Ghana and are counting on your generous support.
