Surgery for Loki "Catbro" Cabot
Donation protected
Late in the evening on December 1st, Loki came crawling home, pulling himself by his 2 front paws, after being attacked by a coyote. Our brave and resilient one year old kitty made it home and he is very lucky to be alive. We thank God he is but are so devastated for him.
Loki is an indoor cat who likes to sneak out whenever he has the chance. After carrying him inside, we noticed a couple of puncture wounds on his side and leg. We took him to the emergency vet at 1:30am and unfortunately the puncture wounds were least of his problems. It seems that when the coyote grabbed on to him, it literally tried to rip him apart. Loki was able to escape but his left rear leg was shattered in the process. Unfortunately the leg is beyond repair and required amputation. The cost of the treatment and surgery is substantial and we need your help. Donations of any amount would be appreciated and help us tremendously.
