Q, & Ginger Memorial Senior Fund

Q was a delightful golden Border Collie, who is a staff and volunteer favorite at Famous Fido Rescue.  He was a perfect gentleman and the sweetest, most loving creature who would lay his head on you and put his arms around your waist in a human-like hug.  He had been with us for almost two years.  His guardian was a homeless man who continued to be down on his luck and had failed to stabilize his life enough to find a home for him and the dog.

Dearest Q has passed away in his sleep after having made it through cancer surgery. Ginger Rogers, our adorable 15-yr. old chihuahua also passed on the same day while hospitalized with Q.   She had multple age-related illnesses.  A tough one for all of us at Famous Fido, but we remain hopeful tbat we can give our other seniors a fighting chance to have as long of a life as possible in hospice, knowing that they are loved and safe. As such, this fund is now a Tribute and Memorial to dear, dear Q and sweetest Ginger.  They  will be looking down from the Rainbow Bridge and will be rooting for all of their fellow  seniors and those severely ill, that they can have a second chance at a longer life by getting critical veterinary care when needed. Please give as much as you can. Every bit helps.  We WILL save lives together!
