Surgery for Sorin

My name is Sorina and I made this page for my dad, Sorin. I know, our names are almost the same it’s not a typo. My parents didn’t know how to name me until a few days after I was born, so my dad rushing on the way to the hospital he forgot my name, or the one my mom liked. So then he decided that his name is Sorin so he will add an a at the end and there you go she has a name. And that is just the beginning of a life full of funny moments with dad.
But lately he hasn’t been feeling well. His situation got worse this winter when he was rushed to the hospital because he didn’t had enough oxygen in his blood and he couldn’t breathe anymore. After 2 weeks in the hospital with an oxygen mask 80% of the time he was diagnosed with sleep apnea and exercise apnea. He already had heart problems and it wasn’t sure if he also has asthma but it was confirmed. Yes, all of this comes because of his weight. He has seen multiple doctors, he tried multiple diets and ways of losing the extra weight but it didn’t help that much or almost at all.
The last doctor he has seen, a very good one that we trust, mentioned that he will need a bariatric surgery. At this point it’s the only thing that will help him keep going and be able to breathe well and not be tired all of the time. He will be able to move easier, and keep working and providing for his family. He is the only one in the family that is still working now with this virus keeping us at home.
His problems started when he was a child and he had a skin problem, back then the doctors weren’t sure how to treat him and so they administrated a variety of strong medicine, now looking back the doctors say that probably that could’ve been a focal point for his metabolism to change and cause some consequences.
I personally would like him to see the day when and I get married, and my brother as well. Also I believe his grandkids would be so beautiful, he can’t miss that. So please, it doesn’t matter how much you give, anything is more than welcomed. And if you can’t help financially you can say a prayer and a blessing so that he will not get worse and be able to do the surgery in time.
Thank you so very much for taking the time to read my story and for considering to help us. Sorina
