CNA Sophia 23, Struck by Drunk Driver - FUNDRAISER
Hello my name is Caroline and most of you know my beautiful, hardworking, and selfless niece, Sophia. On Saturday, July 3rd at approximately 9:30AM she was hit by a 23-year-old drunk driver while on her way home. Her car rolled down an embankment while she was ejected out of the vehicle. She sustained severe injuries, including a shattered pelvis, broken coccyx, broken ribs, fractured collarbone, and a concussion. I am sure she would like for me to tell everyone she is in great spirits and working on her recovery. While mostly true, I also know a part of her is very worried about how she will be able to pay the cost of her medical bills. Like most Americans without medical insurance, she too was not expecting to be in an accident and overwhelmed with medical bills. She will be having multiple surgeries and will remain in the hospital for quite some time to repair all the damage that was done. She will be out-of-commission for months but with the help of doctors we are praying that her recovery will come quickly. Times are tough but ANY donation is greatly appreciated.
