Surgical recovery necessities

Dear friends,

I am reaching out to you today with a heavy heart and a plea for help. As many of you know, I recently underwent a surgery that left me with a long road to recovery. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I was left with limited help to assist me with mobility and daily tasks. As a result, I injured myself and will need to undergo a second surgery to repair the damage.

I am scheduled for my next surgery on March 13, 2023 and have been advised that I will need to refrain from using my abdominal muscles for a minimum of six weeks following the procedure. This means that I will require assistance with moving around, as well as comfort items to help ease the pain and discomfort during my recovery period.

This is where I am asking for your help. I have created this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds to purchase the necessary items for my surgical recovery. This includes mobility aids such as leg lifters, bed grips so I can use my arms to get up, dressing aids, as well as comfort items like pillows, a lap desk and heating pads/ice packs.

I understand that times are tough for everyone right now, but any amount of support that you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Even the smallest donation can make a significant impact in my recovery process, and I am grateful for any help that you can offer.
