SURPRISE...70th Birthday gift for Sherry Hansen!

Dear parishioners of St Catherine of Siena,

Peace be with you!

Everybody in the parish knows Ms. Sherry Hansen. She has been a parishioner here for more than 40 years. Since her retirement, she has never been so busy at the service of our Lord and His church.

After being a catechist for years, taking care of the altar servant, counting the collection, preparing the sacristy at every English mass, and managing the summer Festival.

Sherry is now our business manager.

Sherry is a lovely and lively lady with a sense of humor and a great purpose for charity.

In a few days (Dec. 21), Sherry will turn 70 years old!

The idea came into my heart to recognize all the good she has done for our parish! My goal with this fundraiser is to raise enough money to send Sherry on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land or Rome in 2023. I am praying you will find it in your heart to contribute to Sherry's 70th Birthday present. It is a way of expressing our gratitude for the gift Sherry is for each of us and the whole parish.

This will be a surprise gift! Please don’t say anything to her.

Queridos feligreses de Santa Catalina de Siena,

¡La paz sea con ustedes!

Todos en la parroquia conocen a la Sra. Sherry Hansen. Ella ha sido feligrés aquí por más de 40 años y desde su jubilación, nunca ha estado tan ocupada al servicio de nuestro Señor y Su iglesia.

Después de ser catequista durante años, formar a los monaguillos, contar la colecta, preparar la sacristía en cada misa inglesa, supervisar el Festival de verano, ahora es nuestra business manager.

Sherry es una dama encantadora y vivaz con sentido del humor y un gran sentido de la caridad.

¡En unos días (21 de diciembre), Sherry cumplirá 70 años!

Me vino al corazón la idea de reconocer todo el bien que ella ha hecho a nuestra parroquia ofreciéndole una peregrinación a Tierra Santa o a Roma en 2023.

¿Te gustaría contribuir a financiar esta peregrinación con una donación? Es una forma de agradecer el regalo que ella es para cada uno de nosotros y para toda la parroquia.
