To our dear friends and family,
In early August, we will travel to Tijuana, Mexico with Al Otro Lado's Border Rights Project to provide on-the-ground support to courageous refugees seeking asylum.
We've received word that there are basic survival items (underwear, socks, backpacks, toiletries, soap, feminine hygiene products, etc.) that after walking thousands of miles and with hundreds left to go are in greatest need for women, children, and families.
Therefore, we are opening this fundraiser to collect whatever $$ we can to purchase these items when we get to Mexico and give them directly to women, children, and families.
Will you join us in solidarity by providing whatever you can - $5, $50, $500? To a woman, child, or family seeking safety and freedom from violence and persecution, your gift means everything.
