Surviving Bloomington 7 - Danny Fundraiser
Donation protected
Surviving Bloomington is a local event where 16-24 contestants spend a weekend in June playing a game based on the reality television show Survivor (CBS). It is designed to raise empathy, funds, and awareness for people in our community who are experiencing homelessness.
On top of supporting our community in a time of need, your donation will also go towards helping Danny in the game! The top 2-4 contestants who raise the most money (depending on the season) will be our "Donation Contestants". The Donation Contestants will have Immunity at the first Tribal Council that they attend, and they will also be given a "Team Challenge Advantage Card" that they can play at any point before the merge, and it will give their team an advantage in a challenge.
Donations will also give Danny advantages in the Redemption Island (RI) challenge at the merge if they need them. Please see the Surviving Bloomington FAQ page for specifics on how much money earns RI advantages.
**Donations enable us to make financial gifts to other community organizations serving people experiencing homelessness in Bloomington/Monroe County at the end of each Surviving Bloomington game. Donations also may support program costs such as staff, supplies, marketing, and other operational expenses.**
**Once a Donation has been made, refunds cannot be returned to the donors, even if the contestant ends up dropping out of the game.**
