Surviving Friends Walking Out

Hey, I'm Syra and the lovely lady with me is my fiance Anaya. As happy as we are with each other, we're struggling hard.

Last year we got together with 4 friends and went in on renting a house together, sharing in the costs for the place and all the basics so we could all support each other. It was going great until a couple months ago when 2 of those friends decided they instead wanted to help another friend of theirs follow her dreams since she just got her degree and a dream job. So they left with her, moved out of state, and left the rest of us to deal with everything else. They said they'd still send support our way when they left, but that hasn't really happened except for the one time they paid enough to cover one bill.

And between them leaving and someone else in the house losing their job, we went from a 6-income house to 3. We can't afford to move, but we're barely holding on to what we do have. We need help keeping the power on, our phones on, the water flowing. The lost job is being replaced, but new jobs are always such a slow process and we need help now.

Please? Anything will do at this point
