Surviving the Loss of Tamika
Donation protected
We’ve lost our beloved Tamika Ashika Richards on Friday, March 3, 2023 sometime before 9 o’clock that night due to a hit-and-run accident. She was a mother of 6 children and one grandson. She was the oldest out of 8 siblings (Shantel Richards, Shareafer Richards, Shaquana Folks, Shavonna Folks, LaShawn Folks, Donald Folks Jr. and Donnell Folks). She also leaves behind her surviving parent, Donald Folks Sr., her stepmother, Debbie Folks, a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins, and an array of friends, neighbors, colleagues, and people that knew her or knew of her.
She’s ALWAYS looked out for everyone in her family, around the neighborhood, anyone that she came across, and she always had her children as her #1 PRIORITY.
My nephew, Ray-Quan Parker, has undergone surgery days after his mother’s passing and is now in a rehabilitation center where he will be continuing with his physical therapy.
Although the funds we were able to raise successfully helped to pay for my sister’s funeral and burial arrangements on March 24th & March 25th, we still have a long way to go with current and future expenses to help stay afloat. Any token of donations that anyone can give to help continue supporting the kids and the family will be greatly appreciated and humbled.
Thank you in ADVANCE to EVERYONE as we continue the days ahead of surviving through the loss of our Tamika Ashika Richards.
