Surviving victim of deadly VA Walmart shooting
Donation protected
Jalon Jones is a "24-year-old man who had been working at the Chesapeake Walmart for around a year before being shot alongside others inside the store", according to Kassidy Hammond of abc8News. Jalon experienced this terrifying event firsthand, as he had to see several of his co-workers and store goers get shot while they tried to run for their lives. Jalon was shot a couple of times and remains in the hospital, trying to recover mentally and physically.
I am a co-worker and close friend of Jalon's best friend, and we would like to help Jalon on his road to recovery, as he will not be able to return to work immediately. Any support provided will assist Jalon in paying for medical bills, physical and trauma therapy as well as home expenses until he can work again. Donations will be transferred directly to Jalon's account from Gofundme to help with these expenses.
We continue to pray for all those who lost loved ones during this senseless gun tragedy.
Thank you in advance for your help.
