Survivor Alliance Fundraiser
Tax deductible
In less than three years, Survivor Alliance has built a community of over 300 survivors of human trafficking around the world who are actively participating as anti-trafficking leaders. Our members are front-line workers, emerging scholars, NGO Directors, independent consultants, grassroots organisers, and policy advocates. Our members are also mothers, fathers, carers, people seeking asylum, former foster youth, formerly incarcerated youth, BIPOC, LGBTQ+, people of all faiths and nationalities. What we have in common is a passion for anti-trafficking efforts to be led by and for survivors. And that is wo we are. Survivor Alliance is of, by, and for survivors of human trafficking. A majority of our Board and Staff are survivors and everything we do places survivors at the center.
Survivor Alliance is celebrating our 3 year anniversary as an organization on April 23, 2021 and we are asking you to join us! We have a great line up of events for you to learn about how human trafficking intersects with other social justice issues such as ending racism, environmental degradation and migrant workers' rights. See the list of activities here: https://www.survivoralliance.org/sa-birthday-fundraiser
Your financial support will contribute to our World Congress, an online conference that will bring 200 of our members togethe July. Participants will develop leadership skills, expand social and professional networks, engage in wellbeing workshops, and of course have some fun through our Talent Show!
If we are lucky enough to blast through our fundraising goal, all remaining proceeds will go to increasing language access and digital access to our programs. This includes paying for translators and intepreters, purchasing laptops to rent out to our members, supporting mobile data costs, and making sure all our programs remain free to survivor leaders.
