Donation protected
Kurt Macdonald is the sole survivor of the tragic plane crash that claimed the lives of six people near Fort Smith, Northwest Territories on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. He has since been released from hospital and is recovering.
Kurt is an electrician at Diavik Diamond Mine, and has worked there since 2015. He has a 5 month old son with his fiancée Dominique. Kurt is a very loving and playful father; he would do anything for his family. Kurt and Dominique have a 4 year old dog that they adopted from the local animal shelter, and they spoil her like a real baby. In his personal time, Kurt is an avid golfer, hockey player, and gym goer. They’re hopeful that he's able to return to the sports that he loves.
Many people have inquired how they can support. This page has been created so individuals can show their support to Kurt during this difficult period. Your donations will go to Kurt, allowing him to focus on his recovery and spend time with his family.
