Susan and Bob Pratt's Fire Relief Fund
Donation protected
Our hearts are so full! We have hit our original goal for Susan and Bob.
The love and support from each and every one of you has us at a loss for words. All your kind words and thoughts mean everything to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Even though the goal has been reached I am keeping the campaign going for those who wish to still donate.
Again, thank you!
On February 11th 2021, my parents Susan and Bob Pratt's family home caught fire and their belongings were left in ruins. Heartbreakingly the treasured family cat Keiko was taken by the fire. They'll have to rebuild from scratch, clothing, bedding, electronics, furniture and a lifetimes worth of irreplaceable family heirlooms.
My parents are very private and would never ask anyone for help, so I'm going to do it for them instead. They're kind, loving and compassionate people that do their best to help everyone close to them and in the community. Susan is the owner of Fabulous Finds on Bowen Island and Bob is the friendly doorman at the Ruddy Potato (aka Santa). This tragic event has left them homeless without a clear idea as to what their lives will look like from now on.
Any donations you can offer to help lessen the load on rebuilding their lives would be appreciated beyond measure. My parents have a long road ahead of them and will have to overcome a considerable financial burden to regain a semblance of their old lives.
Thank you from their loving daughter, Lauren.
