Funeral Cost for Susan Anderson

My mom, Susan Anderson-Baxter, passed away unexpectedly in May 2017.  Her passing has left me distraught in every way imaginable.  Even though we lived far apart, I could always count on her to be around to talk on the weekends. She was quite the character and always had something funny to say. Her laugh was very memorable and I wish I could hear it one more time. ❤

My mom was only 56 when she died. When she was 43, she had a work related injury that put her into an early retirement and she spent her days on the internet,
binge watching TV shows or laying out at her pool. Her injury caused her alot of pain, but she did the best that she could. As sad as I am that she is gone, at least I know she is no longer suffering.

Since I was her only child, the responsibility of taking care of all her business and financial affairs has been sitting heavily on my shoulders for some weeks now.  Unfortunately she did not have her affairs in order, nor did she have enough money in the bank to cover her own funeral expenses.

I am hoping to raise enough money to cover the cost of her cremation, urn, and interment.  She would probably be upset with me that I created this page, but I have no extra savings either.

Any help would be much appreciated. If you can't help financially, please think about your own affairs, or those of your family. Be kind to your loved ones and make sure someone is listed as a beneficiary on all financial accounts, create a will or trust, discuss what you'd want for a funeral, etc. As cliché as it sounds, we are not promised tomorrow, so take care of things today. The loss of a loved one is heartbreaking enough, but having the extra stress of making quick funeral decisions and dealing with the business side of death is absolutely unbearable. 

At 31, I've now lost all my immediate family that raised me. However, I know I have a large support system of people behind me that will see me through this difficult time, and for that, I'm forever grateful.
