Susan Blair’s medical

On Sunday,  August 11th,  our mom was in a moped accident. She was trying to be the fun-loving grandma that she always has been, but lost control of the moped and ran into a parked vehicle. She hit her head on the vehicle and then on the cement. She was flown out by helicopter to Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD where she was in ICU for two days with multiple injuries. Two neck fractures, skull fractures, a subdural hematoma, a subarachnoid hemorrhage(brain bleeds), broken ribs and a small pneumothorax.  She will have multiple follow up visits. The timing of this accident was a very bad time d/t working two jobs. along with being the primary caregiver to her own mother. The restrictions to be without work for the next several weeks will have a financial impact. We would appreciate any donation amount for these medical expenses, ongoing medical expenses and monthly bills without having income coming in for several weeks. God bless you all!
