Susan Farris's Medical Expenses
Donation protected
On June 5th, 2020, my brother, Jonathan Farris, passed away. November 19th, 2020, my sister-in-law, Susan, Jonathan's wife suffered a stroke. She was found by her neighbor on November 20th, 2020, and was transported by ambulance to Forrest General Hospital. The doctor there arranged for her to be airlifted to Ochsner in New Orleans because she had a very large blood clot in her neck. At Ochsner they did not do surgery because they believed it was more detrimental than beneficial to try and remove the blood clot. She was given blood thinners to treat the blood clot. She was at Ochsner for 13 days before she was transported back to Forrest General Hospital. Susan has been undergoing rehabilitation ever since because she has weakness on her left side. She is a labor and delivery nurse at Forrest General, but she will not be able to return to work for a while. They do believe she will eventually make a full recovery, but it will take some time. Any donation no matter what the amount would be greatly appreciated to help pay Susan's medical and living expenses until she is able to return to work. We ask for prayers for Susan's full recovery.
