Susan Fischer Medical Fund

Our sweet Susan Fischer, wife, mother, friend and amazingly gifted speech language pathologist is battling a rare aggressive form of cancer.   She is receiving chemotherapy infusion treatments which are limiting her ability to maintain full-time employment.  If you know Susan, you know she is a person who finds her work deeply rewarding and she desires more than anything to get back to the business of living her life fully, which includes helping children and families.  Unfortunately, because she is an independent contractor, sick leave benefits are unavailable to her, all the while medical expenses are beginning to pile up .  Many of you have asked what we can do to help Susan and her family.  Right now, they are in need of not only our prayers but also any financial support, no matter how small or large, to ease the financial burden of escalating medical expenses, exasperated by a lack of income.  We all wish for Susan and her family to place their energy and focus on this fight and remove the worry of the incurring costs.    Thank you, for your love and support for this, mother, wife, friend, colleague, and kind soul whom we all love so very much.
