Susan Glover Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Our dear friend, Bob Glover, recently lost the love of his life, Susan Mary Glover, at the age of 60 on December 21, 2021. Susan and Bob were married in May of 1988 after meeting in their mid 20’s in Pensacola, Florida. Together they lovingly raised two sons, Anthony and Daniel ages 29 and 24. Susan was a beacon of light and joy for their family. She had never cursed a day in her life, but instead, Bob knew he was in trouble when she would call him "Egghead".
At the age of 39, Susan developed signs of a genetic condition, Huntington’s Disease. For anyone unfamiliar with the disease, it is a rare, inherited disease that causes the progressive breakdown (degeneration) of nerve cells in the brain. For Susan, this meant a slow deterioration of her body and mind over a 20 year period, ultimately leading to her death this past December. Bob dedicated his life to caring for Susan, which included giving up his career in the Navy.
To honor Susan’s life and Bob’s sacrifice, we are setting up this memorial fund to help support the substantial financial needs during this time. Please considering contributing.
All are invited to attend Susan’s burial at St. Peters in Washington, Virginia, on March 21, 2022, at 1:00 pm.
