Susan Hanson Cancer Recovery Fund

If you know Susan, you have definitely experienced the warmth she brings into a room. Her bubbly personality and friendliness make her easy to talk to and fun to be around. Unfortunately, after recently celebrating her 70th birthday, she has been diagnosed with Stage IV Colon Cancer. Even at retirement age, Susan is forced with the burden of working in order to maintain the costs associated with living alone. Now, she needs our help. She will be undergoing several surgeries and medical treatments that will prevent her from being able to work for the next several weeks or even months. Hopefully, she will recover from this treatment and be back to her normal, entertaining self. But in the meantime, she needs our help maintaining her recurring bills like rent, utilities, car payments, medical co-pays, and food. Additionally, if you live near her, she needs assistance mowing her yard and keeping up with other recurring chores. Susan lives alone and her children do not live in the same city. While her family is trying to pull together to take care of her, distance can make that a challenge for constant care. Anything that you can do to help would be much appreciated as she faces this difficult time. I'm sure she would even love to spend time with all of you while she is recovering.
