A Friend and Co-worker gone too soon

My name is Anne Boehm . I have worked with Susan in SCU and PICU at Maine Medical Center. I am fundraising Along with Juliana Choi from the Scarborough Surgery Center (where Susan worked most recently).

Over The years Susan has worked in CTICU, PACU, the Pediatric Clinic and for a short time at PREP. Needless to say, as in her career, her death has touched many lives.

Susan was a diligent patient advocate and had a strong passion for her work. Over the years while working alongside her, we laughed and did together what we as nurses do best-we CARED.

In addition to her Family, Susan loved the Ocean, Sewing, Gardens and the beauty of nature and music. We are raising funds to install a memory bench and a fruit tree(s) as a memorial gesture. Our goal is to encourage folks to consider the good times we shared with Susan. Our hope is that somehow the place (tbd) will allow us to remember her with fondness . In addition, we hope it offers others a place of respite from our busy world.

If we go over our goal, we will still collect and just get a nicer bench, bigger tree or more than one! Any overage will be donated to the Brunswick Humane Society - The family's choice for donations.
