On Thursday, February 1st a devastating house fire destroyed the place our mother has called home for the past 25 years. The fire has taken her home, personal belongings, pictures, clothing, and needed essentials that she uses as a self-employed house cleaner. It is unknown at this point, if anything, is salvageable from the fire. She will need to rebuild everything from basic necessities like clothes, shoes, furniture and housewares along with replenishing her supply of house cleaning materials for her income. While thankful for everyone's safety, the financial burden is significant as she has limited resources and does not have insurance to replace belongings.
