Hello,

I'm hoping to raise for my sister Susan. On May 30, 2023 Susan suffered a major heart attack while at work and was rushed to UF Health in Leesburg, Florida.

The cardiologist said that it was a "Widow Maker" and only 12% of victims survive long enough to receive treatment at the hospital. Fortunately, Susan did survive and received a stent to relieve an artery that was 99% blocked. After a couple of days in the hospital, one night of which was in the coronary intensive care unit, she was released from the hospital.

She is doing remarkable well and will be following up with her new doctors this week. Susan will not know how much longer she will be out of work until after she meets with each doctor.

Our goal is to begin by raising $4,000 to help cover her monthly prescriptions- one of which is $500, help cover bills from the work she has missed so far and to help her secure new housing that would be safer for her to carry out daily routines and will also bring her closer to my family.

This amount will only assist with a few months, but that is a great beginning. Any amount would be greatly appreciated as we begin this new (and improved) stage of her life.
