Susan Melchor - Wildfire Victim

Susan Melchor is one of our gallery family at Master's Editions in East Tennessee. She is a wonderful person who often volunteers at the food ministry 

She lost her house and everything she owned in the Gatlinburg wildfire, and there will be no insurance money to replace anything. We want to help her get back on her feet so we are raising money that he can use to purchase food, clothes, basic necessities, find a new place to live, etc.

Thank you ALL for prayers and kind words...we are evacuated but Gatlinburg closed no one can go in so unknown about house

Someone was in the area of my house..they dont know if it was my house or neighbors house destroyed. My neighbors house is a vacation rental. Now I want to be an ostrich and hide my head in the sand

Stayed at Days Inn..next to the Fireworks Store..not the most logical place to be in a fire storm..thank God they didn't reach this far...

bad news...winds again tonight from midnight to 6 am then rain..winds expected to be 60 mph....pray for it to stop...still a lot of hot spots

Just got word 31 homes in my neighborhood burnt.dont know about mine

my house is gone everything gone ..no insurance except enough to pay off loan




Thank you everyone for your prayers and words of encouragement...they are deeply moving...I am at a loss for words but cling to my loyal heavenly Father...He said He will never leave me nor foresake me..Right now I feel like to its all a bad dream..but then reality hits...We are safe..my dogs are safe..and we have Jesus in our hearts ..whay more could I ask for...Thank you everyone...85 mph wind gusts knocking down powerlines creating a bad firestorm. ..I am truly blessed to call you ALL my friends..meeting with Fema tomorrow.

As sleep eludes me..my thoughts today...CAN'T TOUCH THIS. The fire burnt my stuff but it can't touch my soul.. My soul belongs to the Lord. Morning has broken start of a new day..where to begin??? I do not know. Putting pieces of destruction back together is difficult. Viewing it in the perspective of going to Heaven ..He gets rid of our baggage so we can focus on Him and in turn He gives back to us a Heavenly Home...Its time I leave my destructive life behind and live a heavenly life...Im on my way back home...
