Susan Parsons Lovelady

Hi, my name is Jamie and I am raising money for my dear friend Susan Parsons Lovelady. Susan is an amazing friend who will do anything to help anyone. She hasn't had the easiest life, but you would never know it based on her huge smile and loving personality. Due to the tragic and untimely death of her daughter she has been raising her grandchildren on her own for many years. Susan was in a freak accident and could use our help right now. Any donation is greatly appreciated.

On October 28th Susan had a freak accident and broke both of her ankles and badly cut her left foot. She immediately had surgery to repair her ankles and recieved stitches for the cut. She was in the hospital for 4 days before being allowed to go home. She will return in a few days to have staples/stitches removed. For the next 6 weeks she will be wheelchair bound with absolutely no weight bearing on her feet/ankles. After 6 weeks she will begin physical therapy to learn to walk again.

Susan had just started a new job with Jefferson County School System, but her benefits had yet to start. It is still unclear if she will be able to keep her job. As you can imagine bills and expenses are already piling up. Without income paying regular bills is tough, much less the medical bills. Susan is unable to drive herself or her grandchildren where they need to go which leads to transportation expenses. Although some meals are being provided there is still much need for assistance with meals and food.
